Hillcrest

Hillcrest is a vibrant community located near downtown San Diego. Just south of Hillcrest is Banker’s Hill, just north is University Heights, just east is North Park, and just west is Mission Hills.

Hillcrest is very walker-friendly, and many of the restaurants have patios on the sidewalk. On weekend nights, the sidewalks are usually crowded with pedestrians. Hillcrest is home to a large variety of restaurants, night clubs, bars, and shops.

The main streets of Hillcrest have mainly condos/apartments, but the outskirts of Hillcrest have single family homes. Hillcrest has one of San Diego's most popular farmers markets every Sunday morning/early afternoon. It is also home to the pride parade in July, city fest street fair, Taste of Hillcrest, and many more events throughout the year.
